Cambium is a mathematically well-defined process language intended as a multiparadigm intermediate representation for biological models that include developmental or other structure-alterning biological processes. The name stands for "Computerized Arrows for Mathematical Biology with Intercellular, Understandable Model". Cambium could find practical application in large-scale software environments that must be compatible with multiple modeling languages and simulators for complex and variable-structure dynamical systems.
